The InLine® Network Media Converter 10/100/1000Mb/s TP to SFP FO (for LC Duplex), SM, 20km is designed for the migration or expansion of existing networks at low cost. The converter complies with various IEEE 802.3 Ethernet standards and has a RJ45 10/100/1000Base-T port and a fiber optic LC duplex module slot. It offers fiber optic connections to wide remote network segments and is also ideal for connecting buildings. With the converter it is possible to connect optical networks over distances of up to 20km. This can be achieved by connecting both devices directly via fiber optics. System administrators can use the converters anywhere in the network without making changes to the existing cabling structure. The compact size allows the installation in any desktop environment.
