Superspeed USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 hub AXAGON HMC-5G2 SPEEDSTER 5H expands your laptop, computer or phone with five ports. You can easily and quickly connect up to four USB devices and HDMI display to your computer at the same time via the double-sided USB-C connector. You also get the possibility to supply laptop using Power Delivery technology at the same time. The hub will provide you with a simple and compact laptop docking station.
The USB hub offers a total of four USB outputs - two with standard USB-A connectors and two with modern USB-C connectors. Thanks to the advanced USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, you can connect high-speed devices such as NVMe M.2 external drives to all outputs at up to 2x higher speed 10 Gb/s compared to standard Generation 1 hubs with a speed of only 5 Gb/s. The hub can handle permanent connection of several external drives simultaneously and USB-C ports allow charging of phones and tablets with a current of up to 3A.
One of the USB-C ports also allows you to use the Power Delivery function to power up a laptop or mobile phone via hub from a charger. Connect the USB-C Power Delivery charger to the hub and connect the hub to the laptop. This saves one port, which could be useful. The condition is a laptop with Power Delivery charging support from the USB-C port and a suitable PD charger.
HDMI output provides high quality image up to 4K/30Hz Ultra HD resolution and supports multi-channel audio transmission. DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) enabled USB-C port or Thunderbolt 3 port is necessary for the proper function of video output.
