Moving persons are reliably detected while pets weighing up to 15 kg are ignored. In rare individual cases, however, a lighter animal may set off the detector, e.g., if it runs, jumps, or flies close to the detector.Technology and installation:Optimal mounting location is in a corner, about 1.80 to 2.40 m above the floor. The expected direction of travel of an intruder should be across the detector. The viewing angle is approx. 90 degrees, the detection range (depending on the mounting height) up to 12 x 12 m. The spherical lens design ensures extremely reliable detection thanks to uniform room coverage.
