The IS2221-015 from PureLink's iSeries is a 1.50 meter long and unidirectional USB-C to DisplayPort cable in black colour, equipped with connector housings made of ABS plastic. The cable connects a USB-C source device to a DisplayPort display device via USB DP Alt-Mode and enables a maximum transfer rate of 21.6 Gbps for resolutions up to 4K UltraHD 60Hz. iSeries - Full Range of Cables and Adapters for All Common Types of AV Signals
The AV portfolio IS100 to IS171 (Adapters) and IS2000 to IS2221 (Cables) from PureLink's iSeries includes AV adapters and cables for the connection of source devices with DisplayPort, mini DisplayPort and USB-C connectors to display devices with HDMI, DVI, VGA and DisplayPort connectors. The cables and adapters enable the transmission of AV signals with the maximum bandwidth of the respective standard. Thus, all cables and adapters with HDMI connection support a bandwidth of up to 18 Gbps for resolutions up to 4K UltraHD 60Hz, those with DVI connection up to 4.95 Gbps for resolutions up to 2K WUXGA and the ones with DisplayPort connection up to 21.6 Gbps for resolutions up to 4K UltraHD 60Hz.
The cables are essentially unidirectional, i.e. they can only transport the signal in one direction. This is always clearly indicated. Only the cables and adapters with the same signal type on both sides (e.g. DisplayPort to DisplayPort) can be used bidirectionally.
All adapters feature a 0.10 meter long Portsaver pigtail cable with a very small bending radius, which provides effective strain relief to the connected devices' sockets. All cables, including the Portsaver cables of the adapters, are triple-shielded and equipped with inner conductors made of tinned copper strands. Except the DisplayPort female sockets (PVC), the connectors of all cables and adapters are made of robust ABS material; the metal plug housings themselves are always nickel-plated and the connection pins are always gold-plated. This allows for perfect signal transmission at all times while efficiently protecting against corrosion.
The USB-C plug of IS2200 up to IS2221 cables can be used reversibly, so there is no need to pay attention to the plug direction. All USB-C cables transmit AV streams using DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode), provided the source device also supports DP Alt Mode. They are not suitable for USB data and power transmission.
The cable diameter varies between 4.5mm and 4.8mm depending on the signal type of the cable and is always 3.9mm for all cables with USB-C connection.
All cables are available in two colour variants. White cables end with the number "0" in the item number, the black versions with a "1".
