The InLineŽ Network Media Converter 10/100/1000Mb/s TP to FO (SC Duplex), SM, 20km is designed for the migration or expansion of existing networks at low cost. The converter complies with various IEEE 802.3 Ethernet standards and has a RJ45 10/100/1000Base-T port and a fiber optic SC duplex module slot. It offers fiber optic connections to wide remote network segments and is also ideally suited for connecting buildings. With the converter it is possible to connect optical networks over distances of up to 20km. This can be achieved by connecting both devices directly via fibre optic cable. System administrators can use the converters anywhere in the network without making changes to the existing cabling structure. The compact size allows the installation in any desktop environment.
